A food court for the modern age – bringing a selection of London’s hottest restaurants to Hammersmith – eat in, take-away, home delivery

Forget plastic chairs, greasy spoon caffs and dreary interiors, Feast Canteen is reinventing the ‘canteen’ concept and dialing it up a notch. The team behind Pergola on the Roof and Pergola Paddington Central will be taking the unused, uninspiring food court in Hammersmith Kings Mall, and transforming it into a slick canteen for the modern age. Bringing in a rotating line-up of London’s most sought-after restaurants, open 7 days a week with communal seating for 350 hungry visitors, Feast Canteen will offer lunching, brunching, all-day feasting and food on the go. Deliveroo will also be providing a host of new home delivery options to Hammersmith and its surrounding areas in West London. The first of its kind in the UK, Feast Canteen is set to revolutionise London’s food scene.

Set within an invitingly light and stylish space that will add to the development of Hammersmith, four exciting restaurant partners will take top dishes from their menus and make them accessible to a West London crowd. Whether a large party of friends or small group of colleagues, diners can choose from a mouth-watering array of dishes, yet share the same table and experience – without having to book.

With no other food line-up like it in West London, Feast Canteen will be welcoming Breddos Tacos, who will be dishing up fresh tacos using the best of British produce; Patty & Bun, who will be serving their legendary burgers; Salvation Noodles, who will be offering authentic Vietnamese noodles with a modern twist; and Born & Raised who will be creating artisan British pizzas.

During the day, Feast Canteen promises to be the perfect spot for tired shoppers, families, groups of friends, leaving lunches or business meetings. With dedicated workstations and free Wi-Fi, there are no fixed sittings or time limits and guests are invited to stay and enjoy their food and drink for as long as they like. With food to take away, office workers can grab a bite to eat on the go or order in for a business lunch. For those unable to make it down to enjoy the unique eating culture, Feast Canteen’s relationship with Deliveroo means that Londoners can get dishes delivered to their doorsteps or desks within 30 mins.

Set to be one the biggest openings of 2017, the brand-new concept of Feast Canteen will help to transform Hammersmith and its surrounding West London area.

Patty & Bun – Patty & Bun believe in quality of produce, selecting their ingredients from British suppliers wherever possible. The beef is free range, the buns are made to a bespoke recipe, and everything in between is lovingly produced in their Hackney-based kitchen. They’ve built up a reputation in London as ‘burger royalty’, currently having 7 shops around London and a whole host of events under their belt.

Salvation Noodles – One of London’s most popular Vietnamese restaurants, Salvation in Noodles was founded in 2014 and now has two locations, in Dalston and Finsbury Park. Colin Tu, the owner, was truly excited at the prospect of serving ‘traditional, home-style Vietnamese food in a modern way’, something he felt was missing in London despite there being many good, established Vietnamese restaurants.

Breddos Tacos – Breddos Tacos started out as a makeshift taco shack in a car park in Hackney back in 2011. Since then, they’ve gone on to do residencies and pop-ups, a cook book, as well as a cook-off at LA’s Tacolandia festival in 2016, before finding a permanent home in Clerkenwell. Their food is influenced by the hundreds of roadside taquerias and restaurants they have encountered on their travels throughout America and Mexico, whilst utilising the best of British produce from passionate producers such as Phillp Warren and Son and Wild Harbour in Cornwall.

Born & Raised – A modern sourdough pizzeria with a focus on British, seasonal ingredients. They started life in 2013 at a local market in Hackney – serving wood-fired pizzas from their converted Land Rover Defender. After trading at many of London markets, festivals and pop ups they are excited to be serving their artisan sourdough pizzas at Feast Canteen.
