A food court for the modern age – eat in, takeaway, home delivery

Full Line-up of Restaurants Revealed:

Patty & Bun, Breddos Tacos, Salvation in Noodles, Made of Dough & Sinchow

The first of its kind in the UK, Feast Canteen – a slick canteen for the modern age – is excited to announce pizza champions Made of Dough and rice paper roll specialist Sinchow will be joining Patty & Bun, Breddos Tacos and Salvation in Noodles as the opening lineup of independent eateries.

Opening on 14th February, Feast Canteen is reinventing the ‘canteen’ concept and dialling it up a notch by taking the unused, uninspiring food court in Hammersmith Kings Mall and transforming it into a slick canteen for the modern age. With no other food line-up like it in West London, Feast Canteen will see Made of Dough dishing out the finest pizza, Sinchow serving healthy rice paper rolls, Patty & Bun serving their legendary burgers, Breddos Tacos offering their renowned tacos, and Salvation Noodles making authentic Vietnamese noodles with a modern twist. Each of the restaurants will take the top dishes from their menus as well as adding some new additions.  Deliveroo will also be providing a host of new home delivery options to Hammersmith and its surrounding areas in West London.

Especially for the launch, Feast Canteen is offering the chance to ‘eat for free’ for a week, for those who sign up to the Feast Canteen website. The winner will be picked at random every week from a weekly prize draw for the year ahead. That’s a whole week of free food people!

Open 7 days a week with communal seating for 350 hungry visitors, Feast Canteen will offer lunching, brunching, delivery, feasting and food on the go. Whether a large party of friends or small group of colleagues, diners can choose from a mouth-watering array of dishes, and share the same table without having to book.

Feast Canteen is part of the overall regeneration of Hammersmith Kings Mall, which will also see a new Frame fitness studio open its doors on 27th January.

“Frame has quickly established itself as one of the best names in personal fitness, and it’s a real coup for us that they are opening their first West London outlet at Kings Mall,” said James Lass, Fund Manager at Schroder UK Real Estate Fund, the owner and development specialists behind Kings Mall.  “Their arrival, together with the exciting new brands we are currently in discussion with, clearly underlines the confidence of retailers in our major regeneration plans and the future success of the shopping centre.”

Patty & Bun – Patty & Bun believe in quality of produce, selecting their ingredients from British suppliers wherever possible. The beef is free range, the buns are made to a bespoke recipe, and everything in between is lovingly produced in their Hackney-based kitchen. They’ve built up a reputation in London as ‘burger royalty’, currently having 7 shops around London and a whole host of events under their belt.

Salvation Noodles – One of London’s most popular Vietnamese restaurants, Salvation in Noodles was founded in 2014 and now has two locations, in Dalston and Finsbury Park. Colin Tu, the owner, was truly excited at the prospect of serving ‘traditional, home-style Vietnamese food in a modern way’, something he felt was missing in London despite there being many good, established Vietnamese restaurants.

Breddos Tacos – Breddos Tacos started out as a makeshift taco shack in a car park in Hackney back in 2011. Since then, they’ve gone on to do residencies and pop-ups, a cook book, as well as a cook-off at LA’s Tacolandia festival in 2016, before finding a permanent home in Clerkenwell. Their food is influenced by the hundreds of roadside taquerias and restaurants they have encountered on their travels throughout America and Mexico, whilst utilising the best of British produce from passionate producers such as Phillp Warren and Son and Wild Harbour in Cornwall.

Made of Dough – In late 2014, Made of Dough set out to make the best pizza and have a laugh. Two years on and 100,000 pizzas later, they have done just. Starting out by travelling the length of the country, taking a wood fire mobile pizza oven in the back of a Land Rover to festivals, selling unforgettable pizza to party goers. This has expanded to their current homes; a pizza kiosk in Brixton and a new permanent pizza joint in Peckham.

Sinchow – Back in 2014 when Sinchow first tried rice paper rolls for the first time they couldn’t understand why these extremely healthy and delicious rolls were not as popular and widespread as sandwiches and sushi. In 2017 they couldn’t wait any longer and took the plunge themselves to start Sinchow. Sinchow will be offering our low calorie, gluten free, dairy free and damn tasty rolls and snacks, bringing the familiar prawn rolls but also our best-selling hoisin duck and chicken satay alongside their vegan Cajun sweet potato.
